The programs
Three programs, and who each is for
Pick by soil, not by tier. The first soil test tells us which one fits, and we move you between them as the soil changes.

Build
For lawns on builder fill, or lawns fed from a bag for years. The soil is thin in organic matter, so we feed the soil first and the grass second.
Six visits a year
Soil test every spring
Compost topdressing each fall
Overseeding each September

Maintain
For a lawn that holds its color and tests well. Steady feeding and small fixes keep it there, with nothing extra on the bill.
Five visits a year
Slow-release feeding
Weeds pulled by hand and spot-treated
Overseeding in early September

Restore
For dog paths, bare patches and ground that sheds water. We open the soil, add compost and seed, and set you up to water it right.
Four visits a year
Core aeration in spring and early September
Compost and seed on bare and worn spots
A watering plan for new seed
How pricing works
What decides the price
We measure your lawn at the first visit, and the soil test says which program it needs. Slope, access and the condition of the lawn can move the price, and the estimate says by how much.
The measured size of your lawn
Build, Maintain or Restore, as the soil test calls for
Slope and access to the yard
The lawn's condition
What the estimate includes, and what it doesn't
The products, the labor and the card on your door for each visit. Mowing, irrigation repair, and tree and shrub care are not included.
What happens at the visit
We walk the yard with you, pull soil plugs, measure the lawn and take a sample for the lab.
When you get the number
In writing, once the lab results are back, with the program they call for and your lawn's measured size.
How and when you pay
Each visit is billed when it's done, and the invoice comes by text or email. The estimate says which payment methods we take.
A year, written out
A year on a 6,000 square foot lawn
Two sample programs, visit by visit, for the fullest program and the lightest. Each visit is billed when it's done.

- Early spring: soil test and pre-emergent
- Late spring: first feeding
- Early summer: weeds and iron
- Early September: aeration and overseeding
- Late September: compost topdressing
- Late October: winter feeding
Restore
Four visits for the year.
- Early spring: soil test, aeration and compost
- Late spring: first feeding and spot seeding
- Early September: aeration, overseeding and compost
- Late October: winter feeding
Cancel by text or email before your next visit. You pay for the visits already done and nothing after, and there is no cancellation fee. A program is a schedule of visits, not a promise about how the lawn will look.
How a visit goes
From the truck to the card on your door
- 01
Step 1: We text the day before
You get the day and a window, so you can move the dog bowl and the hose.
- 02
Step 2: We probe, then apply
A plug check first, then only the products that visit's card lists.
- 03
Step 3: We leave the card
It names each product by type, how much went down and the label's re-entry time.
- 04
Step 4: We text when we're done
One line: what we did and when people and pets can go back on the grass.
Questions
Paying, switching and cancelling
How do I pay?
Each visit is billed when it's done, and the invoice comes by text or email. The estimate says which payment methods we take.
Can I cancel?
Yes, by text or email before your next visit. You pay for the visits already done and nothing after them, and there is no cancellation fee.
How much does a program cost?
The price of a visit depends on the program and the size of your lawn. Your written estimate has your lawn's measured size and your numbers.
What if it rains, snows or freezes on visit day?
Visits run from early spring to late fall. Rain, snow and frozen ground move a visit, and we text you a new day. We don't apply to frozen ground or standing water.
Not sure which program? Book a lawn read.
The soil test picks it for you. Text a photo of the lawn if you'd like us to look first.
